SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT: ISM receives prestigious API and ISO certification
Industrial Screen and Maintenance (ISM) recently received the American Petroleum Institute (API) Specification Q1, 9th Edition Certification – a certification for quality management system requirement for manufacturing organizations for the petroleum and natural gas industry.
“The achievement of API Q1 Certification is a testament to ISM’s commitment to consistent processes and quality standards,” said Lindsey Robinson, owner of ISM.
ISM is the only oil and natural gas machine shop between Denver and Salt Lake City, Utah with the API certification. The certification covers 100% of ISMs Grand Junction machining facility, including CNC machining, threaded connections, tubular repairs, urethane casted products, urethane linings and industrial screens.
“We are thrilled to have the approval of API. It’s a long and tedious audit process to become certified, but it’s worth it to give our customers the peace of mind that they are receiving the highest quality of products and servicing from our company,” added Robinson.
ISM was able to receive their API certification, as well as the ISO 9001:2015 in tandem. To maintain certification from both entities, ISMs processes, standards, and procedures will be audited every year.
